Mammoth Spring School District

The Mammoth Spring School District will not be in session tomorrow due to a tragic loss of a current board member, a spouse of a faculty member, and a respected community member. The time will be made up at a later date.

The board meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for tomorrow, September 29 at 12:15 pm.

MSHS progress reports will be mailed to Parent/Guardians tomorrow, Tuesday (29th).

20190 - 2020 Yearbooks delivery begins today. 2019 Seniors and Virtual Learner Students can pick up their books from 3 pm - 5 pm today or Saturday (26th) from 10 am - 12 pm/noon in front of the High School building.

2019-2020 Yearbooks are being delivered today. 2019 Seniors can pick their books up from 3-5 today or Saturday from 10-12 in front of the high school building.

Mid-quarter progress reports will go out today, September 24th. Parent teacher conferences will be held via phone/email this year. Please be expecting communication from teachers.

Due to availability, tomorrow's breakfast will be a Trix Cereal Bar, Banana, Juice, and White Milk.

The Mammoth Spring Public School Meeting will be held this Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 6:30 in the cafeteria. Please remember social distancing rules. and a mask will be required. The regular monthly board meeting will be held following the Public Meeting.

We have had a lot of questions related to COVID and what procedure to follow if a student or staff member has had possible exposure. Our school nurse, Robin VanGinhoven is our designated COVID Point of Contact. There will be a special board meeting Thursday, September 10th at 6:30 p.m. concerning personnel. The board meeting will take place in the cafeteria. Please remember all the social distancing guidelines.

Our preschool program has 3 free spots available. To qualify, your child must reside in the Mammoth Spring School District and be 3 or 4 years old on or before August 1, 2020. Please call 870-625-7213 for more information.

Parents of virtual students: Please contact Kristina in the cafeteria as soon as possible if you would like your child(ren) to receive meals. They will be available for PICK UP ONLY starting tomorrow, Friday September 4 and continuing on Fridays at 3:30 PM until further notice. You may contact Kristina at 870-625-7212.

Thursday, September 3, 2020, 9-12 class/grade sponsors will be in contact with/meet with students. Friday, September 4, 2020, 7-8 class/grade sponsors will be in contact/meet with students. If you are a virtual student, please check your school email to make sure you have the class/grade information. Students who have classes at Ozarka need to be at school no later than 10:35 on Thursday to receive their class/grade information.
