HELPING "BEAR" THE LOAD Mammoth Spring School District's Jr. Beta Club is partnering with the Word of Life Flood Relief Group to support families in North Carolina and Tennessee's rural and mountainous regions affected by the recent floods. The most urgent needs right now include: - Thick Coats - Warm Blankets & Sleeping Bags - Clothing (gently used) - Charcoal, Lighters, Lighter Fluid, Matches - Tarps - Kerosene & Kerosene Lamps - Solar Generators & Solar Lanterns - Iodine Tablets & Empty Containers for Cleansing Water Starting Thursday, Oct. 10, a trailer will be set up between the Admin Building and the west end of the high school. We will collect items until Wednesday, Oct. 16. Please help us help those in need.

The 2024 Senior Class used a portion of it's funding to create a memorial for their fellow classmate, Melissa French, who tragically passed away earlier this year. The bench has been placed in front of our Multi-Purpose Building, serving as a lasting tribute to her kindness, and the impact she had on our school. 💙

Athletic Update: Basketball season is less than two weeks away! We are finishing up some gym improvement projects in order to get things ready for another year in the Bear Den. Our new bleachers are finished and waiting for all of our eager Bear and Lady Bear fans, and the concession stand addition is moving along. Intramural basketball wrapped up last night as well, and we are looking forward to sharing more information about our teams in the weeks go come.

The Mammoth Spring School District will hold a flu shot clinic for all students, faculty, and staff on October 7 at 9 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Building. High school students will receive their forms during English classes, and elementary students’ forms were sent home in their folders on Friday. Additional forms are available in your student's main office. If you have any questions, please contact the nurse's office at 870-625-7212.
