There will be a Town Hall meeting today at 3:45 in the Cafeteria. The topic for today's meeting will be school improvement plans for both the Elementary and High School campuses.

Due to the possibility of severe weather later this evening, we will not be attending the track meet at Mtn. Home. The possibility of severe weather and timing would put us traveling during the onset of the severe weather. We feel the safety of our students is of utmost importance and consider the risk to be high. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these difficult decisions.

Athletic Update:
Spring sports are in full swing, with softball and baseball teams competing regularly. Softball will travel to Marked Tree for a doubleheader next Tuesday, and host Cedar Ridge at home. Baseball will travel to Maynard next Thursday for conference play as well.
In other news, BSN sporting goods has opened up an online team shop for our community in order to commemorate the 2024 state basketball champions, the Lady Bears. If anyone would like to purchase anything from them, they may do so at the link below. Have a great week and Go Bears!

This week the Mammoth Spring School District is conducting Emergency Safety Drills required by the State. Today's drill will be a short lock-down event, where students are held in classrooms or safe spaces until an All Clear is given. This scenario could be necessary for a variety of reason such as clearing the hallways for a medical event, or keeping students away from an agitated student or visitor. During the Drill all campus doors will be locked, and no one will be allowed to enter or leave.
Other drills will also be conducted this week, such as Fire, Tornado, etc.
Thank you for trusting us with your students.
Go Bears!

We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the Bank of Salem.
