Athletic Update: It's been a busy week for Bear and Lady Bear Basketball. The senior girls lost a close game to a very tough Nettleton team on Monday night, then all four teams competed with Hillcrest in conference action at home last night. Thursday evening, 1A-3 conference action resumes with all four teams traveling to CRA, and we will host Armorel for another conference game on Friday night beginning at 4:30. Our home crowds have been tremendous so far this year, so keep coming out for our athletes! Senior boys will end the week with a tough matchup on Saturday morning, as they take on the 4A Blytheville Chickasaws, who are last year's state runners-up. Although there will be no school next week, we will still host Buffalo Island Central on Monday evening. Both senior high teams will play and the girls will tip at 5:00. Tuesday, the senior girls will travel to Salem. The boys game that night will depend upon Salem's football status in their post season playoffs. We will keep everyone updated after we know more. Have a great holiday break next week and Go Bears!
