Athletic Update: The weather has been a big obstacle for winter sports, as it always is. However, I believe that we have everything lined back out and scheduled for our athletes. We hosted CRA last night, and will play Marked Tree in a 4 game night tonight beginning at 4:30. Tomorrow, we will continue conference play with a 4 game night at Maynard. Ridgefield Christian's games have been moved to Saturday, with Jr. Boys beginning at 3:00 and Sr. Boys following. Ridgefield's Jr. Girls have elected to not play that game, and it will not be made up. Basketball season is winding down, with only 1 week left in junior high and 2 weeks left in senior high for regular season action. Keep up the good work, Bears and Lady Bears!

No School
Games at Mammoth Spring will be held tonight. We do not have many options since we and other schools are rescheduling several other conference games. If more bad weather were to come in, it would be difficult or impossible to get all the conference games played. Many rural county roads remain ice-covered. Team members who cannot attend tonight’s game will not be penalized for staying home.

After driving bus routes this afternoon, some dirt roads are still ice-packed. Mammoth Spring School District will be closed one more day on Tuesday, January 23. If the predicted temperatures happen tomorrow, the bus routes will be safer for our buses to travel on Wednesday. Student safety is our top priority.
