Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the Mammoth Spring School District will have a virtual day Wednesday February 10, 2021.
Based upon the weather forecast, tonight's senior high basketball games are being moved up to 5 PM. Senior night will still be between the two games.
MSHS Parents and Guardians: This week is "Parent-Teacher Conference" for the second semester. Your child's teachers will contact you this week through email and phone call to discuss your child's current academic status. You are also welcome to contact your child's teacher if you prefer. Should you feel it necessary to have an "in-person" conference or a 'virtual" conference, please contact your child's teacher/teachers (email or phone call) to schedule a meeting on Thursday (11th) between the hours of 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the teacher's classroom. The Pee Wee games at home vs Sloan-Hendrix scheduled for tonight have been cancelled due to the junior high district tournament.
The junior boys district basketball game vs Hillcrest time has been moved to 4:00 PM.
Students in grades 10 - 12 who had a 3.0 GPA received an email containing an application for Senior National Honor Society. The deadline to submit the completed application is Monday, February 8, 2021 by 3PM. An online or paper application will be accepted. Next week is FCCLA week! Show your FCCLA spirit with the dress up days listed below. Mrs. Taylor said anyone is welcome to participate.

In an abundance of caution, Mammoth Spring School District will have a virtual snow day today, January 27.
Monday, February 1, the Mammoth Spring Jr. National Honor Society, with help from some other school clubs, will be hosting a chili lunch. The chili will be made on-site at the school. All funds raised will go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
To place the order, email Mrs. Savage @ psavage@mssd.us through Sunday. On Monday, please call the High School Office at 870-625-7212 and let Ms. Debbie know you will be placing an order.
You will have the choice between a Chili Bowl (with cheese, crackers, and dessert) or a Frito Pie (chili, Fritos, cheese, and dessert).
You can tell us what time you will pick up your food outside the high school or if a business, what time you would like it to be delivered. The recommended donation is $5 per order. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Savage.

The Lost and Found in the elementary office is OVERFLOWING! If you think your child(ren) have lost a jacket, backpack, etc at school, please check the office by Friday, January 22. After Friday, all unclaimed items will be donated to the Bear Necessities.
MSHS will mail "Three-Week" Progress Reports on Monday, January 25th, to all parents/guardians of our 7th through 12th grade students. In an effort to keep you more closely informed about your student's Quarterly grades, you will receive a report at three (3), six (6), and nine (9) weeks instead of only four and one-half (4.5) and nine (9) weeks.
