Mammoth Spring School District

Mammoth Spring will be hosting the junior high district tournament this year. The dates are as follows: Saturday, 2/8- first round (6 games) Monday, 2/10- semi-finals (4 games) Thursday, 2/13- championship (2 games) Once conference play is finished, we will send out an updated bracket that has game times for each team.

We are excited to announce that Mammoth Spring High School has been recognized by the Arkansas Department of Education for ranking in the Top 6%-10% for growth! As part of this honor, we have been awarded $10,374.62. "This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our teachers, staff, and students," Interim Superintendent Mark Taylor explained. "We are proud of this achievement and grateful for everyone who contributes to the success of our school." Keep up the great work!

Due to inclement weather, Mammoth Spring School District has been closed on Jan. 10 and Jan. 13-15. Our school calendar includes built-in make-up days to accommodate such closures. As a result, MSSD will now be in session on the following dates: • Day 1: Jan. 20, 2025 • Day 2: Feb. 17, 2025 • Day 3: March 14, 2025 • Day 4: April 18, 2025

Congratulations to Avery McNabb for taking first place at the Fulton County Spelling Bee! She will compete in March at the State Bee. This is Avery's third year to win the County Bee! 🐻💙

The Mammoth Spring School District will be in session on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025. Our drivers will be running regular routes that are clear, but if a bus cannot reach you, the driver will call you If you feel that your child cannot safely make it to school due to road conditions, please contact your child's school office to notify us of your situation. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

After assessing the conditions of our secondary roadways this afternoon, they remain snow-covered and hazardous for travel. As a result, Mammoth Spring School District will remain closed on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025.

Games against Marshall have been moved to Monday, 1/20/25.
